Vladislav Mikhalchuk, Ukrainian actor and leader of the Schmalgauzen group, shared the sad news about the death of his brother in front of Instagram.
Alexander, with the call sign Phoenix, was the commander of the tank battalion of the 92nd separate assault brigade named Koshevoy Ataman Ivan Sirko.
In a moving statement to his late brother, Mikhalchuk recalled his strength and courage, calling Alexander an example of heroism who sacrificed his life for Ukraine. The actor promised to remember his brother’s act forever and showed their last common photo.
