And it challenges the idea of parental acceptance and support in relation to their children’s gender identity, encouraging reflection on prejudices and the ability to truly love a trans daughter.”
The Association also points out that “many families still choose to be intolerant, either out of ignorance or because they believe that separation is the best way out. And the impact of this is devastating for both sides.”
The goal is to guarantee citizenship and quality of life by achieving family acceptance. “We want all transvestites to be welcomed and loved by their families. May they be able to develop in a healthy environment and surrounded by love!”
