Big Bang Theory star Bob Newhart has died

The actor died at home in Los Angeles. He is survived by four children and ten grandchildren.

On Thursday, July 18, actor Bob Newhart, the legendary American comedian and star of The Big Bang Theory, died at the age of 94. It was reported by various sources.

It was learned that the actor died at a home in Los Angeles after a series of short illnesses.

Newhart began his career as a stand-up comedian, and his unique way of speaking and his trademark stutter made him a star.

The actor’s first fame came from playing Papa Elf in the 2003 Christmas classic Elf. His role as Professor Arthur Jeffries in the popular comedy series The Big Bang Theory was a real sensation, for which he received his Emmy award in 2013. He most recently appeared in three episodes of Young Sheldon.

Bob Newhart was married to Jeannie Quinn from 1963 until his death at the age of 82 in April 2023.

It was previously reported that Ukrainian theater and film actor Daryush Eslami has died at the age of 24.
