Produced by CINEDAS, the series premieres on July 7th on Matilha Cultural and will then be available on YouTube
The idea for the documentary came about in 2018, after the release of the first season of the LGBTQIA+ fiction series “Seus Olhos”, available on Prime Video. The project values the plurality of points of view and the expansion of the diversity of voices, creating an environment of inclusive dialogue. The series won the PROAC LGBT+ 2022.
Divided into six episodes, the series presents stories such as that of Cristiane Lorca, 58, and Elisa Costa, who have been together for over 20 years and run Quiosque da Cris in São Vicente; Carol Pimentel, an artist and lesbian, and her partner Keite Queiroz, who raise their daughter Flora together; Juliana Offenbecker and Priscila Harder, the first mothers to register their children with their surnames; Govinda Lilamrta, mother, artist and chef; All Ice, transgender singer and composer; Gabriela Luz, indigenous, transvestite, teacher and researcher; and Anne Pereira, who investigates gender, race, sexuality and Afro-religiosity.

“We hope that the series inspires and embraces the LGBTQIAP+ community, and that it touches people outside of this bubble. That everyone can see the strengths, beauty and uniqueness of each person, overcoming any prejudice. We want to normalize the existence of diverse bodies and sexualities,” says Angélica.
