The Bureau of Economic Security expressed suspicion on the director of a school in the Kyiv region: the director paid more than 3 million UAH of budget funds for a shelter that did not meet the standards. The BEB press service reported this on Tuesday, July 2.
It was reported that the educational institution ordered the construction of the simplest civil protection shelter for 100 people and more than 3 million UAH was allocated from the local budget for the shelter.
The contractor built a shelter that did not meet the class stated in the tender documentation in accordance with state building codes and technical specifications, but the school director signed the certificates of completion and transferred the budget funds without justification.
Vyshgorod City Council suffered damage worth more than UAH 3 million.
