Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Orpheus Pledger after he failed to appear in court on an assault charge.
Australian police are searching for Home and Away star Orpheus Pledger after issuing a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday. The BBC reported it.
The actor faces four counts of assault on a woman, authorities said.
It was learned that on Monday, by the court’s decision, the actor was released on bail to undergo an examination at a hospital. However, Pledger had to return to Melbourne court on Tuesday, but did not show up. Victoria Police asked the public to assist in the search.
The court set the next court hearing for May 10, if law enforcement officials manage to find the actor before that time.
In turn, the actor’s manager, Craig McMahon, claims that Pledger has recently had mental health issues.
