British actress Anya Taylor-Joy spoke for the first time when she officially got married.
On her Instagram page, the star said she married musician Malcolm McRae two years ago in New Orleans. The festival took place in 2023 in Venice.
Anya Taylor-Joy also published some archival photos from the wedding and warmly congratulated her husband on his wedding anniversary.
“Two years ago, on the first of April, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans. The magic of that day is forever embedded in every cell of my being. Happy second (first) anniversary, my love … you are the coolest!”, – the actress signed the post.
In the photos, Anya wears a stunning, soft dress with thin straps from Dior, decorated with beautiful bird embroidery.
During the gothic ceremony, the couple enjoyed an intricate anatomically correct heart cake with red frosting.
“Please note: yes, these are anatomically correct hearts. Yes, I am the vampire Lestat,” commented the star.
