The European Days of Crafts will be held from April 2 to 7. An opportunity to discover committed, passionate creators, as well as rare gestures and know-how.
Artistic crafts are gestures passed down from generation to generation, enriched by innovations over the years and centuries. But above all, they are multiple, sublimated materials that pass from the raw state to the state of a precious object. The European Crafts Days (Jemma), held from April 2nd to 7th, allow us to open our doors to workshops throughout France. Like these three magicians who turn feathers, metal, thread into exceptional pieces or beautiful everyday accessories.

Valerie Tanfin is a rare bird. In his Legevin workshop in Haute-Garonne, he tames the feathers of breeding birds or those that have fallen in flight. Using this fragile and rare material, he designs dreamlike works inspired by nature. So we fly to the Plumarium, a place dedicated to artistic crafts, which Valerie manages with her mother, to learn with her the techniques of featherwork and artistic needlework, to create a working collective.
