The ex-husband of Naiara Azevedo, Rafael Cabraldecided to speak out after being reported by the singer for domestic violence in the early hours of last Thursday, 30th, in Goiânia.
Rafael did not deny the accusations and revealed that he was surprised by the court’s decision to grant the protective measure. The businessman also praised Naiara and stated that he will comply with the court decisions.
“I received with surprise the statements and legal measures involving my name and that of my family”, he said in a letter sent to the journalist Fábia Oliveira.
“My story with Naiara was built with many struggles and difficulties, where two discredited people together managed to achieve much more than they imagined and reach a successful artistic career, nationally recognized”, he wrote.
“Our complicity and partnership have always been the ingredients of our achievements. Humbly, I recognize my mistakes and my human failings as a husband, I respect and welcome the decisions of the Court and I hope that through dialogue we can build a consensus and clarify any doubts and disagreements”, continued.
“Naiara is a complete artist and an incredible person, to whom I dedicated more than 10 years of my life, she has my total admiration and the affection of my entire family, I wish her always the greatest success in the world”, he finished.
