UTA stopped working with the actress after her controversial remarks at a recent pro-Palestinian rally.
Hollywood company United Talent Agency (UTA) refused to work with actress Susan Serendon because of her support for Palestine. The deadline reports this in relation to a representative of the agency.
In particular, last week the Oscar winner attended several pro-Palestinian rallies in New York, where he made several statements, including: “Today, many people are afraid to be Jewish and feel what the feeling of being a Muslim in this country.”
He also added: “It is important to listen, it is important to use the facts. It is not necessary to study the entire history of this region, it is enough to see the babies dying in the incubators – these pictures perfectly show that not everyone is in order there. A cease-fire must come now.”
In addition, the screen star reposted on the social network X (formerly Twitter) a pro-Palestinian post by Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters, who has been criticized for years for his anti-Semitic statements.
It is worth noting that Sarandon has been a client of the agency since 2014.
It was previously reported that French fashion house Dior has stopped working with supermodel Bella Hadid because of her position on the Palestinian-Israeli war.
