Reynaldo Gianecchini opened up about his sexual orientation. On display with the piece A Herança, which discusses themes of the LGBTQIAP+ community, the artist said that he no longer intends to talk about his fluid sexuality.
“I never felt obligated to anything, especially now doing this piece, I kept remembering the time when there was this militancy of wanting to charge. I think it’s so unreasonable”, he said in an interview with the CARAS podcast.
The actor spoke further on the subject. “I feel very comfortable, [mas] I don’t want to talk about my sexuality anymore because I’ve said everything I have to say. It seems that I only talk about it, and I don’t want to talk anymore.”, completed.

The heartthrob also commented on the period when HIV began to be registered in Brazil during the 1980s. Gianecchini commented that the moment was terrible for the LGBTQIAP+ community and that the union of people was essential for studies to be carried out.
“If the community wants to demand respect and welcome, it has to welcome everyone the way they are, everyone has their time, their truth and their sexuality. We are living in a time that is no longer on the agenda.”he said.
