Hollywood actress Halle Berry has won another victory in a decade-long struggle to reduce the amount of child support paid to her ex-boyfriend, Canadian fashion model Gabriel Aubry, for her daughter Nala. The Daily Mail reported this.
The Monster’s Ball actress is required to pay Gabriel Aubry $16,000 per month. In 2021, he was able to reduce that by $8,000 a month, but the Oscar-winner was forced to pay him an additional 4.3 percent of any annual earnings above $1.95 million.
Now, according to new documents, Berry, who earns ten million dollars per film, was able to limit this amount to $4.5 million.
This means that the maximum amount he has to give to Gabriel Aubry, annually, in addition to the monthly payments, is about 110 thousand dollars a year.
“Holly shall continue to pay Gabriel 4.3% of any income she receives in excess of $1.95 million in additional child support for Nala, however, any additional child support payments under this paragraph shall not exceed $109,650 per year, which equates to a difference of 4.3% from $1.95 million to $4.5 million. The parties agree that additional alimony beyond $109,650 per year would exceed Nala’s reasonable needs.
It was previously reported that Halle Berry spoke about the unfortunate incident that happened to her at a charity event in Los Angeles.
