There are 31 calendar days in May, of which eight will be public holidays this year and 23 will be working days.

Despite the fact that May is rich in holidays, none of them provide additional days off, because martial law was implemented in the country, which was extended for another 90 days – until May 20.

In particular, every year in May, Ukrainians look forward to two additional days off: May 1 – Labor Day and May 9 – Victory Day over fascism. This year, these days fall on Monday (May 1) and Tuesday (May 9).

Therefore, we traditionally rest on Saturday and Sunday: 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th, 28th.
