The number of unemployed people receiving benefits has decreased several times

The number of Ukrainians receiving unemployment benefits decreased during the year from 250.5 to 56.1 thousand people.

Official unemployment figures in Ukraine have more than halved over the past year. This is confirmed by the data of the State Employment Service, published by the National Bank.

According to statistics from the employment service, in March 2023, the number of registered unemployed decreased to 137.3 thousand, of which 98.5 thousand were women. A year ago in March there were 286.9 thousand unemployed.

The number of Ukrainians receiving unemployment benefits decreased during the year from 250.5 to 56.1 thousand people.

The number of vacancies is 33.5 thousand, the average load per vacancy is 4 applicants.
