The singer recalled the case of harassment she suffered alongside her mother when she was a child
During the meeting this Thursday, 30, Claudia Leitte recalled that she was the victim of harassment when she was eight years old. The singer said that the case happened when she was with her mother on a bus and, even if it was when she was a child, the artist said that she will never forget.
Claudia explained that her mother sat her on the bench and wrapped her hands around her as a way of protection and, as she studied in the morning, she always took transport with a heavy flow.
“It’s a scene that I can’t get out of my head. My mother and I on the bus, she took me to school, there was a routine. I saw many things happening. But one, even when I was very young, I never forgot”, she began.
“One guy pestered my mom in a very uncompromising way that scared the hell out of me and I’ve never forgotten the expression on his face. If all that embarrassment wasn’t enough, he looked at me and said: ‘Call her there’. I never forgot that, I was scared to death. I remember the dread I felt,” she reminded.
