Germany reports aid transferred to Ukraine

Germany transferred to Ukraine 18 Leopard 2A6 tanks with ammunition and 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles with ammunition.

Germany transferred Leopard 2 tanks and Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine within a week. This is confirmed by the updated list of aid transferred to Ukraine on the government website.

Compared to last week, the list includes heavy armored vehicles, the transfer of which has been officially confirmed – 18 Leopard 2A6 tanks with ammunition and 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles with ammunition.

Also on the list:

  • two armored recovery vehicles for the Bergepanzer 3 armored vehicle (based on the Leopard 2 tank);

  • two WISENT 1 demining tanks (based on the Leopard 2 tank);

  • another 24 Zetros trucks, in addition to the 28 previously transferred (together – 52 already);

  • another 40,000 first-aid kits, in addition to the 120,000 previously handed out (in total – 160,000);

  • 103 thousand turnstiles.

Earlier it was reported that all 18 Leopard 2 tanks were transferred by Germany to the Ukrainian side.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov personally tested the German Marder infantry fighting vehicles that arrived in Ukraine.
