“Ukrainian society will not forget the price paid by our soldiers in this war. The government’s mission is to create comfortable services and opportunities for our veterans,” he insisted.

According to Shmygal, the Cabinet of Ministers is beginning to approve some strategies, regulations and launch programs, based on a new strategy in the field of veteran policy.

In sum, the prime minister gave eight main tasks.

Adaptation of military personnel to civilian life

The strategy is done. The transition from military service to civilian life should be as comfortable as possible for defenders.

Medical services and psychological support

The reform of medical and social expert commissions and military medical commissions will begin. There should be no queues, incomprehensible questions and running between offices.

The Cabinet of Ministers makes the passage of these commissions as comfortable as possible for military personnel. And for this, all the terms for investigating the circumstances of the damage will be reduced, and the number of full-time and garrison VLK will increase significantly. In addition, maximum digitization of all approvals will take place.

Pilot projects have been launched. This year’s updated strategies should work across Ukraine.

Economic Opportunities for Veterans

The first step in this paragraph is to expand the program business veteran. We are talking about grants for veterans and their families to start their own business in any field.

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution to expand the program of non-refundable grants Robotwhich will include separate areas specifically for veteran businesses.

First direction: 250 thousand hryvnia grant can be received by a veteran for his own business when creating at least one job in this business.
Second direction: A 500 thousand hryvnia grant can be received by a family member of a fighter when creating at least two jobs in a new business. Co-financing under this program will be 70 to 30. That is, 70% is contributed by the state, 30% must be the new entrepreneur’s own funds.

third direction: 1 million hryvnias of a grant can be received by a participant in the conflict if he has been an entrepreneur before and registered as an FLP for at least three years. The main condition for this grant is to create at least four jobs, of which at least two are provided for veterans or people with disabilities as a result of the war. Here, as in the second program, co-financing will be 70 to 30.

All grant applications will be accepted through Diya.

Thanks for the program Robot more than 3.5 thousand new businesses have been created.
