Richard Gere sells convertibles to help Ukrainians

All proceeds from the sale of cars will go to help Ukrainians affected by the Russian war.

Hollywood actor Richard Gere is selling his 1999 Jaguar XK8 convertible. The lot was on display at the Bring a Trailer auto auction.

The luxuriously trimmed car has a 4-liter engine and a five-speed automatic transmission. The total mileage is 30 thousand miles (48.2 thousand km).

“The full amount of sales will be distributed equally between World Central Kitchen and Open Arms Ukraine, which are non-profit organizations assisting war victims in Ukraine,” the description of the auction lot.
