“I, my representatives, were approached for advertising, so that I could advertise Russian goods! That is, people living in Russia think that it is really normal if I advertise Russian goods here in Ukraine?! What is in their head? “, he said.
Subsequently, an artist from the Russian Federation approached the representatives of Zlata Ognevich with a proposal to release a joint track and monetize it on a popular streaming platform.
“It’s generally a wild horror! Some kind living in Russia turned to my team to release a track with my voice, with part of my song. On Spotify, he wants to monetize it all, popularize it, and indicate me as a co-author of the track. That is, they prepare rockets for us, kill people, take territories, and we have to do joint creative work on them. I understand that everything is very sad there in the propaganda, with a state of awareness and understanding, but to be so cynical and think that it is completely normal” , – the singer is angry.
After this incident, the singer called on the citizens of Ukraine to stop listening to Russian performers, because their promotion affects the financing of the war against Ukraine.
“I strongly urge you not to listen to Russian content, that neighbor! In the main, even if you really like it! Because if you listen to it, you make money and help them raise money,” urged Ognevich.
