Zelensky submitted to the Rada a resolution on sanctions against financial institutions of the Russian Federation

The head of state proposes to approve the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the application of sanctions against Russian financial institutions.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky submitted a resolution to the parliament approving the decision to apply sanctions against the financial institutions of the Russian Federation.

The head of state proposed to approve the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on February 22 On the application of sectoral special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) to financial institutions of the Russian Federation.

As noted by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the draft resolution is planned to be considered in the near future.

Recall that Zelensky implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against the Moscow Exchange and 333 Russian citizens.

It has also been reported that the United States and allies will strengthen control of sanctions against the Russian Federation.
