The Irish singer dedicated a song to refugees from Ukraine

In October, the artist released the song Take Heart, which called for supporting Ukrainians in the fight against the invaders.

Irish rock band The Frames frontman Glen Hansard dedicated the song to refugees from Ukraine. The video was published on The Independent’s YouTube channel.

In particular, the artist, together with his colleagues, took to the streets of Dublin to take part in a charity concert on Christmas Eve and sing the song Falling Slowly.

Also during the performance, Ukrainians joined the artist. Together they sang the composition, then the young people sang a Christmas carol for those present.

“Of course, in the Irish mind there are differences around the homeless and people coming to our country in need of asylum. They should not be mutually exclusive,” Hansard addressed the audience.

It was previously reported that Volodymyr Dantes decided to cheer Ukrainians abroad with a song.
