Artem Pivovarov, together with Nastya Kamensky, presented a joint composition based on the verses of Pavel Tychyna. The video was released on the artist’s YouTube channel.
The composition called There of poplars combines two poems of the Ukrainian poet at once: There are poplars in the field and Where poplars grow … As the artist explained, Tychyna loved nature and great who described it in his creations.
“In his works, Pavlo Tychyna very well describes nature and human interaction with it. His poetry is full of love for the landscapes of Ukraine. In addition, the poet conveys every detail so accurate that you can almost feel the violent wind, the singing of the poplars. or the noise of the rye, he wrote Many Ukrainians today really miss their native landscapes, so the work “There by the Poplars ” is an opportunity to mentally transport yourself to your homeland while listening to a song or watching a video,” commented Pivovarov at the premiere of the composition.
In this regard, Kamensky added that this project was an interesting experiment for him.
“In the song “There in the poplar” the words of the famous Pavlo Tychyna from two incredible works are heard, where the poplar is a symbol of the greatness of the human spirit, its thirst for freedom and happiness. Today, for all Ukrainians, it has a special meaning. Therefore, it is really exciting to record to me that I want to express the strength and power that permeates the words of the author and give emphasize it with high-quality loud musical accompaniment to every sound,” he said. .
