Stephen Amell played Oliver Queen in ‘Arrow’, a series aired on TV between 2012 and 2020
Stephen Amellthe actor who gave life to Oliver Queen in the series ‘Arrow’, declared in a recent interview with Den of Geek that he misses the character and made himself available to the franchise to wear the iconic hood again in a new version of Green Arrow.
In addition to thanking DC, CW and Warner, the star expressed his desire to bring the character back to the small screen with a new purpose, or even in a cameo in which the use of blood in the scenes was released:
I owe a lot to the folks at DC, the CW and Warner. I love the character and I’ve grown to like it even more now that we’re almost two years past the end of the series. Having this distance, I realized that I miss him. I have very, very good memories. If I can help in any way, if I can be of use in the Arrowverse, and better yet, can take him somewhere else, that would be the most interesting path. Maybe some limited participation… or a different platform, maybe one where we could show blood. It would be nice.”
It is worth remembering that ‘Arrow’ was responsible for paving the way for a shared universe of DC Comics series that affectionately received the name of Arrowverse, due to the work starring Amell be the first title in the franchise.
Thus, after the Green Arrow series, productions such as ‘The Flash’, ‘Legends of Tomorrow’, ‘Batwoman’, ‘Supergirl’, ‘Black Lightning’ and ‘Superman & Lois’ began to air on The CW and Warner Channel.
‘Arrow’ has eight seasons that were shown on TV between the years 2012 and 2020. Still, the eight years can be watched by the streaming platform Netflix.
