After more than two years of filming, the film “Things of Friends”, created in collaboration with Radio Oxígeno, hit the billboard in Peru on July 21st. Film director Giovanni Ciccia and starring Rodrigo Sanchez Patiño, Bruno Asenso, Oscar Lopez Arias, Gisela Ponce de Leon, Emilia Drago and Miguel Davalos.
Sánchez Patiño plays Raúl, Asenso plays Santiago and López Arias plays Eduardo in the new comedy of the multi-faceted Ciccia, who is returning to cinema as a director after his success with recontraloka (2019).
The characters of the three actors in this story are friends. Santiago confesses that he is gay and wants to break up with his girlfriend because he is in love with Julián Dolan, a character that Argentinian Nacho Di Marco likes.
Raul is trying by all means to convince his friend that this is nothing more than confusion, unleashing a series of unexpected situations. No doubt their friendship will be tested, and together they will discover that despite the fact that friends think differently, they can be tolerant and understand each other.
“Stuff of Friends” talks about friendship in a funny and emotional tone. Ciccia reveals that she is briefly involved in the film with Bruno Pinasco’s character. “This is an appropriate film in a time of so much division and intolerance. It is made with soul and has great features,” he says.
