See a new image of TWICE member Dahyun in the new K-drama “You Are The Apple of my Eye”, which marks the idol’s debut on the big screen
COMING HERE! The long-awaited debut of Dahyunby TWICE, on the big screen is closer than ever. Scheduled to premiere on February 21st, the drama starring the idol alongside the actor Jung Jinyoungpromises to bring a lot of excitement to fans.
Being a Korean adaptation of the Taiwanese film of the same name,”You Are The Apple Of My Eye” features the plot of young Jin Woo (Jung Jinyoung), 18 years old, who tries to find the courage every day to confess her feelings to her first love, Seon Ah (Dahyun).
In new images released by STUDIO TAKE, the studio responsible for producing the film, we see the protagonist of the story in a school environment, bringing even more to the nostalgic essence of the premise. Check it out!
In the original version, the film presents the growth of Ko Ching Teng (Chen Tung Ko), a troublemaking high school boy, and Shen Chia Yi (Michelle Chen), a model student, following their journey into adulthood, 15 years later.
The remake will be led by the director Cho Youngmyoung (The Preparation), and will be the production responsible for marking the premiere of Dahyun as an actress. In addition to “You Are The Apple Of My Eye”, the TWICE member is also confirmed in the film “Sprint”, alongside Ha Seok Jin and Lee Shin Youngand the k-drama “Love Me”, where the protagonist Yoon Sol will play, an extroverted dance teacher with lots of friends.
Dahyunin a recent interview, expressed his excitement at knowing that the film will be released in cinemas worldwide.
“It’s my debut as an actress, so I’m very nervous and anxious. I can’t wait for (the film) to be released and meet the audience!”
“You Are The Apple of My Eye” will arrive in Brazilian cinemas, according to producer Storyvent, although there is no exact date yet. Meanwhile, ONCE’s eagerly await more details for the TWICE member’s big screen debut.
