Jisoo, from Blackpink explores comedy, drama and action in previews; look!

ARTIST! Not surprisingly for fans of Jisoomember of Blackpink, the actress’s acting skills. Going from romance to action, with each new project it consolidates itself in the South Korean entertainment scenario. Starring the new drama of coupang play, “Newtopia”, alongside Park Jung Min, Jisoo will face a utopian seoul full of zombies.

“Newtopia” is inspired by the novel written by the South Korean author Han Sangwoon“Influenza”, and provides the public the story of soldier Lee Jae Yoon (Park Jeong Min) and Kang Young Joo (Kim Jisoo), a couple who, after a fight, decide to stay separately. However, everything changes when an unknown virus reaches the city, turning everyone into zombies, making them try to meet to stay alive.

The new trailer released further urges viewers’ curiosity by showing the challenges that the couple and the other characters face in the virus crisis. With the protagonists determined to come together again in the midst of chaos, we follow their efforts, with unusual weapons like flames, electric scooter and even chainsaws.

Joining the companies of names like Ra in Ho (Im seon jae), Aaron Park, (Kim Jun Han), Jin Wook (Kang Young Seok) and Alex (Lee Hak Joo), the characters of Jisoo and Jeong min They fight for survival at all costs in an exciting story, full of personal dilemmas, relationship conflicts, and investigations to discover the origin of the virus.

The drama has been extremely awaited not only by fans of Blackpink and K-Dramas, but also by expert critics, since its script is signed by Ji Hojin (The for killers shop) next to Han Jinwonscreenwriter responsible for Oscar winning film, “Parasita” (2019).
