In response, the agency responsible for the idol, YG Entertainment, commented on the complaint made by the portal.

With that, YG Entertainment shared a statement denying the allegations:
“It is difficult for us to confirm specific details about Song Mino’s service. However, the medical leave was an extension of the treatment he was receiving prior to his service.” They clarified: “All other leave, including annual leave, was used in accordance with regulations.”
In addition to the company, The Mapo Resident Welfare Facility, where Mino works, revealed that there is no irregularity in the idol’s performance of service: “He served in accordance with the regulations.” The venue also stated that a statement will also be issued to officially clarify the idol’s situation.
It is worth remembering that Mino began enlistment on March 24, 2023 after being exempt from basic military training by the Military Manpower Administration. Thus, he completed his alternative army service for a year at Mapo Facilities Management Corporation, and in 2024, he was transferred to the Resident Welfare Facility, where he remains to this day.
