Check out some characters that have already appeared in DC Comics, and that we would like to see in the DCU films in theaters
With the arrival of james gunn and Peter Safran to the positions of president and executive president of DC Studios, the studio has undergone a series of reformulations in its productions, which will feature a new world integrated into cinemas, presenting new stories to fans around the world.
The beginning of this new universe will begin with the arrival of “Superman”, a feature film directed by Gunn which is scheduled to premiere in July 2025, and will bring David Corenswet like the Man of Steel.
With the beginning of this new chapter in DC films, many other heroes who are unknown to audiences who don’t follow the comics, may gain an opportunity to be more prominent, and make a special appearance in one of the upcoming productions.

1. Rainbow Girl
A member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, Rainbow Girl can change color according to her emotion at the moment, in addition to having the ability to make anyone fall in love with her instantly thanks to her pheromone aura, which can be considered a heroine, or even a villain in film adaptations.
2. Atomic Knight
Gardner Grayle, the Atomic Knight, is a former army sergeant who, after receiving a prediction of a nuclear holocaust, decided to create his own atomic armor, capable of giving the user superhuman abilities, in addition to producing energy beams. In the comics, he was alongside the heroes of the DC multiverse during the Crisis on Infinite Earths, and has also fought against Wonder Woman.
3. Infectious Girl
Also a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, Infectious Girl is an alien originally from the planet Somahtur, a place where the inhabitants are a kind of walking colony for the most different species of microorganisms, with just one touch on the victim being enough to make them sick. Despite being immune to the diseases that the microbes spread throughout her body could cause, Infectious never learned to control her powers.
4. King of Condiments
As one of DC’s most unusual characters, the Condiment King uses condiments such as mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard as his main weapons and part of his secret identity. Like Harley Quinn, he also appeared through the 90s animation, “Batman: The Animated Series”, going into comics only years later.
5. Wesley Dodds (Sandman)
The first character to take on the mantle of Sandman in DC Comics is not Perpetual created by Neil Gaiman. The person responsible for this role is Wesley Dodds, an army veteran and member of the Justice Society who used his scientific knowledge to create a weapon capable of putting his enemies to sleep.
