After cancellation of revival, iCarly gains new comments on story told in feature film; look what Cosgrove said!
Protagonist of “iCarly”, the actress Miranda Cosgrove participated in the program The Talk, as reported by the Omelete portal, where he commented on the possibility of the franchise receiving a film. At the time, she commented that she couldn’t give many details, but that there is a title in development that will excite the series’ fanbase.
“So I’m not allowed to confirm 100% yet, but I think fans of the show are going to be really excited because we have something in the works.”
Still, when one of the presenters questioned the possibility of “bringing back old favorites,” Cosgrove commented, “Yes, and we end the revival on a cliffhanger [termo usado para quando uma história termina subitamente ou com uma grande reviravolta que deve ser solucionada em outro título]and we will resolve this.”
It is worth remembering that the actress had already commented on an “iCarly” feature film previously. In an interview with Variety (via Collider), she mentioned that there are great chances that the production will actually reach the big screen.
“I’m pretty sure it’s going to happen,” Cosgrove said. “I’m excited and would love to be able to finish the story.”
