New pages of the “music industry report”, created by HYBE, reveal points that the conglomerate believes LE SSERAFIM should strengthen
This Friday, the 1st, more pages of the “music industry report” created by HYBE became public. This time, the leak, possibly carried out by a company employee, brought, among other topics, the conglomerate’s thoughts about LE SSERAFIM, as the content highlights the group’s “weakness”.
It turns out that LE SSERAFIM has already received several criticisms about the members’ live vocal performance, such as when Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha and Eunchae took the stage at Coachella, in April this year — this being the point that HYBE believes the group needs to strengthen.
In the document, there is the following quote (via Koreaboo):
A bit of momentum was created, but it was a bit diluted after Lim Young-woong’s dance song performance, where his lip-syncing was quite obvious. There are definitely people trying to exploit this group’s weaknesses to attack them, and the fact that they are starting to target their live presentation skills could be a warning sign. Criticism of Eunchae?
Still, that wasn’t the only comment about LE SSERAFIM. Among the 18 thousand pages of the document that was presented in the audit of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee of the National Assembly, on October 24, with criticisms about k-pop artists and companies, there are assessments about the behavior of Eunchaethe maknae (youngest member) of the group, stating that the way she acts causes criticism for arousing jealousy and dissatisfaction.
They also hold the interactions of Eunchae with male idols on the online variety show hosted by her, “Eunchae’s Star Diary”, due to the public reaction towards the idol.
