The negative updates from BamBam on social media began in mid-July, when the idol published a story on Instagram saying that “I would like to sleep and never wake up again, because only then would I be able to rest”. The double meaning of the phrase generated great commotion on social media, which caused the idol to leave for a while.
On September 23rd, BamBam announced that he would take some time to rest, promising to return as “a BamBam more positive again.” In his last Instagram post, made on September 19, the caption also reflects this idea, saying: “don’t forget that it’s your life, before it’s too late.”
Until then, ABYSS Company, the agency that manages the idol’s solo career, has not commented on what happened.
