According to information reported by the Koreaboo portal, Sucksmember of BTS, has reportedly received a hefty fine due to the lawsuit related to his recent controversy, where the idol was found driving an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol.

The portal claims that the Western District Court of Seoul, South Korea, sentenced Sucks to pay a fine of ₩15.0 million KRW (approximately R$63,168 at the current exchange rate), as a result of his summary acquittal, given to people with minor crimes, decreed last Tuesday, 10, by the Seoul Western District Prosecutor’s Office.

It is worth remembering that, according to the South Korean Road Traffic Law, which states that those who drive with a blood alcohol level of 0.08% or higher are subject to a fine of between ₩5.00 million Won (approximately R$20,148) and ₩10.0 million Won (approximately R$40,240).

On August 7, South Korean news outlet Yonhap News reported that the BTS member was being investigated by the Yongsan Police Station for drunk driving, violating traffic laws. The outlet revealed that, in the early hours of that day, the star was found by police officers, lying on the street in front of his house, after driving an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol.

Through security camera footage released by the Dong-A Ilbo newspaper (via AllKpop), it is possible to see that, at the time, Sucks was riding his electric scooter on his way home from Nine One Hannam condominium in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at a low speed when he fell after making a left turn and lost his balance, without causing any accident to other people. At this moment, three police officers who were passing by and saw the incident approached the artist, where they tried to help him and noticed that he was drunk.
