The 2024 edition of the Melon Music Awards, popularly known as MMA, has a date and location for the ceremony. Find out!
On Wednesday, the 4th, Melon announced the long-awaited date and location for the Melon Music Awards 2024, popularly known simply as MMA: November 30, at the INSPIRE Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, South Korea.
As reported by Soompi, this year’s ceremony’s theme will be “New Stream of K-Pop,” reflecting the brand’s aim to be a leader in emerging trends in K-pop. As one of South Korea’s leading music platforms for 20 years, Melon also aims to unite K-pop fans from all over the world and usher in a new era of music through MMA 2024.
The website also states that, before the event, there will be promotions that will give access to early performances by the main artists of the night, and giveaways for tickets to the awards. In addition, fans will also have the opportunity to vote in the categories, and in the TOP 10.
“For the past 20 years, Melon has been the stalwart of K-pop, driving the music industry in South Korea and fueling the global K-pop wave. With MMA 2024, we want to celebrate this year’s achievements with fans and showcase a new vision for the future of K-pop. We appreciate your continued interest and support,” said Jang Yoon Jung, co-CEO of Kakao Entertainment, the company behind Melon.
