Hyun Bin, the actor who plays Ri Jeong-hyeok in “Landing on the Rock”, will co-star in the new Disney+ production
Disney+’s New K-Drama ‘Made in Korea’ Has Cast Hyun Binactor from “Landing on Love”, as reported by the Omelete portal. He will co-star in the production alongside Jung Woo Sung (12.12: The Day).
The new production is set in the 1970s, to tell the story of Kitae (Hyun Bin), a greedy man who craves money and power, and Geonyoung (Jung Woo Sung) a stubborn prosecutor. After an incident, both of their lives will be changed forever.
“Made in Korea” does not yet have a release date set.

South Korean actor and singer, Hyun Bin can be seen on the small screen since the 2000s, as he debuted in drama with a role in the k-drama “Nonstop”, in 2003. Since then, he has shown himself to be a versatile actor, acting in productions of different genres and formats, as his resume can be found roles in titles such as “Secret Garden” (2010) and “Memories of the Alhambra” (2018), for which he received the “Baeksang Arts Award” for Best Actor in Television, “The Negotiation”, “The Point Men”, “Harbin”, and many others.
It is worth mentioning that he is also in the global phenomenon “Landing on Love”, giving life to the character Ri Jeong-hyeok. The k-drama can be found in the Netflix catalog, but was originally shown by the channel tvN, reaching the channel’s audience record and the title of third Korean drama with the highest audience in the history of Korean cable television.
