The investigating judge of the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv granted the corresponding request of the Prosecutor General
The court chose in absentia a preventive measure in the form of arrest without bail for the people’s representative Artem Dmitruk who is suspected of the attacks. The Prosecutor General’s Office reported this on Telegram.
On Thursday, August 29, the investigating judge of the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv granted the Prosecutor General’s request and chose a preventive measure for the representative of the people of Ukraine in the form of detention without setting bail.
The UCP explained that the decision of the investigating judge and the corresponding resolution to place Dmitruk on the wanted list will be transferred to the Department of International Police Cooperation of the National Police of Ukraine, which should organize the entry of information about the international wanted list . in the records of the General Secretariat of Interpol “issued a red alert” and began detaining the suspect outside of Ukraine for the purpose of further extradition.
As you know, on August 25, the media reported that People’s Deputy Dmitruk fled to Moldova. The previous day, Dmitruk claimed on his Telegram channel that the suspicion was being prepared for him. A pro-Russian MP called it “an attempt to deprive him of political activity.” He also complained that, supposedly, he had been taken by the special services.
