ANOTHER RECORD! Despite completing mandatory military service, Jimina member of BTS, has achieved a new record for solo artists on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
That’s because, last Tuesday, the 13th, Billboard revealed that the star’s most recent solo release, “Who”, remained for the third consecutive week in the 24th position on the chart, making him the first solo K-pop artist to stay in the top 23 of the Hot 100 in its first three weeks.
Proving its success, the track “Who” was also present in other rankings of the vehicle, appearing in second place in Global Excl. US, in fifth place in Global 200 and in 16th place in the Digital Song Sales chart — charts in which JiminIt reached the top of the charts for two weeks in a row, and also appeared at number 20 on this week’s Streaming Songs chart.
Meanwhile, the album “MUSE” also remains stable on the Billboard charts, remaining at No. 2 on the World Albums chart for three consecutive weeks, and claiming No. 14 on both the Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales charts.
It is worth remembering that, currently, among the members of BTS, only Jin the period of mandatory military enlistment has ended. J-Hope should be the second to be released, with his discharge scheduled for October of this year. Already Jimin, Jungkook, V, RM and Sucks should only return to activities in June of next year.
