Strikes at airports: The General Staff told the details

Last night, the Ukrainian Defense Forces simultaneously hit four military airfields of the Russian invaders. The General Staff of Ukraine reported this on Wednesday, August 14.

It was noted that on the night of August 14, units of the Air Force and Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, attacked four airfields. in the Voronezh, Kursk and Nizhny Novgorod regions of Russia.

“In particular, the military airports of Khalino, Savasleika, Borisoglebsk and Baltimore were hit,” the statement said.

The General Staff said that army aviation, Su-34 fighter-bombers, Su-35 fighters and other enemy military aircraft are based at these airports.

“The main targets of destruction are fuel and lubricant warehouses and aircraft weapons,” the General Staff clarified.

The outcome of the attack is still unknown.

As reported, explosions were heard at Voronezh, Kursk, Savasleika and Borisoglebsk airports. Local sources wrote about 10 explosions in Savaslake alone, from where MiGs fly regularly, terrorizing the whole of Ukraine with air raid warnings. An attack on the Baltimore military airfield in Voronezh was also reported. There was a fire there. The Russians said they destroyed four tactical missiles and 117 UAVs last night.
