Everyone has their own preferred method of organization, and EXO members are no exception when it comes to their cell phone contacts.
Nowadays, there are several ways to save our contacts on our phones, such as using nicknames or emojis. Everyone has their own preferred method of organizing them, and EXO members are no exception! During a meet & greet livestream held by the group in 2018, they shared with fans how they usually save each other’s contacts.
Chanyeol He started by saying that he saves the members’ names in a simple way, using the pattern, like “Minseok-ee Hyung” (Xiumin), “Baekhyun-ee”, “DO” and “Sehun-ee”. However, the only one he nicknamed differently was Suhowho saved with the comical “Super Leader Hyung”. Already Chen saved the members with their real names, for example, “Kyungsoo” (OF), “Junmyeon-ee Hyung” (Suho), “Jongin-ee” (Kai).
Suhothe leader of EXO, revealed that he usually puts “our” in front of all names, while Baekhyun commented that he nicknames all the members in his contacts.
Finally, OF revealed that he uses the last names at the beginning of almost all of his names, calling the members ‘Kim Minseok Hyung’, ‘Kim Jongdae’, ‘Byun Baekhyun’, ‘Kim Jongin’, ‘Kim Junmyeon Hyung’ and ‘Oh Sehun’. Kaibeing part of EXO’s maknae line, uses the expression “Hyung” after the names of the older members, as in “Kyungsoo Hyung”, “Junmyeon Hyung”, “Baekhyun Hyung”, “Jongdae Hyung” and “Minseok Hyung”, as well as having fun calling Chanyeol of “unknown”.
