In a video posted on the Instagram page of the couple created by athletes Tara Davis and Hunter Woodhall, the athlete runs to her husband in tears shortly after qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
On June 30, Tara Davis qualified for the Paris Games during the women’s 7-meter long jump final. This victory is of special importance for the athlete, because after two failures, she had only one chance to qualify for the finals, which she then won. In a July 1 video posted on their Instagram account, The Woodhalls, the 100-meter hurdler and long jumper throws herself into the arms of husband Hunter Woodhall, himself a Paralympic athlete.
“The toughest competition of my life”
Three words to describe the sequence. Joy, tears, pride. After the pageant ends, Tara Davis tearfully rushes to her husband in the front row and then throws herself into his arms. She takes refuge there to finally release the pressure and celebrate her feat of jumping 7 meters, to which her husband responds by hugging her; “I’m so proud of you, it’s so hard. You did it. My God.” After a few seconds of hugging, the athlete who won the right to participate in the Paris 2024 games tearfully told her that it was “the most difficult competition in Armenia. [sa] life”. Mutual support
The couple is known for sharing their daily lives as athletes. In an interview with the American media, Hunter Woodhall, double amputee sprinter and three-time Paralympic medalist, explained.
