Prince William steps in front of the cameras and becomes the star of a documentary series

This is one of his most important royal commitments: the fight against homelessness. Last year, Prince William launched Homewards, a 5-year project that brings together several individuals and organizations to develop tailored solutions for homelessness. The program is based in six UK cities and counties, including Aberdeen, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, Lambeth, Newport, Northern Ireland and Sheffield. In a statement published on the Homewards website, the Prince of Wales described preventing homelessness as a “huge cause” and reiterated his desire to “make our ambition a reality”. A year later, Homewards was the subject of a two-episode hour-long documentary titled: Prince William. We can end homelessness (French: Prince William. We can end homelessness).

The aim of the Homewards documentary is to show behind the scenes of the project. As the founder of this initiative, Prince William steps in front of the cameras and takes viewers through the UK and the key steps that led to the launch. An opportunity to discover other essential characters of this project, such as advocates and project managers who fight homelessness every day, and to hear the testimonies of people who have experienced or are currently experiencing homelessness.

In the footsteps of Lady Diana
