At present, 36 people are known to have died and 166 injured. This was stated at a briefing by the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko, the Ukrinform agency reports.

25 people in the city of Kyiv were killed, 11 in other regions of Ukraine in total at the moment. 166 people were injured, – Klimenko noted.

According to Klimenko, the rubble is still being cleared at the Okhmatdet Children’s Hospital. Rescuers are trying to lift a slab, after which it will be clear whether there are people under the rubble.

It will be closer to night. After that I can say that there is no one under the rubble, he noted.

Let us recall that July 9 has been declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv.
