According to Entertain Naver (via Soompi), YG Entertainment has provided some updates on the reunion of 2NE1 with the agency’s founder, Yang Hyun Suk.
Rumors of a meeting between the girl group and the businessman emerged earlier this week, and YG Entertainment finally declared that the conversation was “extremely meaningful”, in addition to promising good news for fans; check it out:
As this was the first conversation between producer Yang Hyun Suk and the 2NE1 members in eight years, although no concrete plans were made, Yang — who has a special affection for 2NE1 — listened to the members’ requests and empathized with them, so we look forward to being able to convey good news to fans soon.”
