Check out the agency’s full statement:
Hello, this is BELIFT LAB.
We would like to provide some information about ENHYPEN member Jay’s health and his upcoming schedule.
After the first show of ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘FATE PLUS’ IN JAPAN in Hiroshima on June 26, Jay felt pain in his knee and received medical treatment from local health professionals. The medical team advised him to minimize strenuous movements such as choreography and performances for the time being.
Although Jay is very eager to participate in the performances, we will follow the advice of the medical team and minimize his movements during today’s show. Consequently, Jay will not participate in the sound check and will perform sitting on stage, without choreography. Additionally, the other six members of ENHYPEN will perform without Jay on MBC’s “Music Core in Japan.” We ask for your understanding regarding this matter.
We prioritize our artist’s health above all else and will do our best to ensure Jay’s speedy recovery so he can meet fans in good health as soon as possible.
Thanks.
