Through her latest album ‘NA’, TWICE member Nayeon achieved an impressive and historic feat on Billboard
A SUCCESS! This Tuesday, 25th, Nayeona member of TWICE, became the first solo female K-pop artist to place two albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, after getting her most recent comeback “NA” to occupy seventh position on the ranking.
The feat equals the position reached with her solo debut album, “IM NAYEON”, which also reached seventh place and became the highest ranked album by a female soloist in the chart’s history, and the first by a female soloist. -pop to enter the top 10.
As pointed out by Luminate, formerly known as Nielsen Music (via Soompi), the recent solo comeback of Nayeon won the equivalent of 47 thousand units until the week of June 20th, in addition to selling 43 thousand traditional albums and having around 5.41 million streams. As a result, “NA” was considered the best-selling album of the week in the United States.
But does not stop there! The album also appeared at the top of the following Billboard charts: World Albums, Top Current Album Sales and Top Album Sales. The title track “ABCD” appeared in second place on Billboard World Digital Song Sales, in 34th on Global Excl. US and 54th in the Global 200.
