This Friday, 7th, Hyoyeonof Girls’ Generation, opened a live broadcast on social media where she said that she is looking forward to the girl group’s comeback. However, unexpectedly, Idol shocked fans by mentioning the name of the former member Jessica Jung; check out the moment:

The reason for the euphoria was because Jessica was expelled from Girls’ Generation by SM Entertainment in 2015 after an internal conflict between the agency and her personal brand, BLANC & ECLARE. To hear Hyoyeon mentioning it makes it seem that, for fans, the “world may finally be healing”, as the internet user quotes in the X post (formerly Twitter).
Some people theorized that the name was actually someone’s username. Others already believe that Hyoyeon was actually referring to the former member, as there are screenshots showing that a viewer commented on the name of Jessica Jung in Hangul (Korean alphabet); look!
