It has been indicated that Matte Frederiksen was hit by an unknown man while he was in Kultorvet Square in Copenhagen.
Frederiksen was “surprised by the incident,” the statement said.
The office declined to comment further. Frederiksen himself did not make any statements about it.
It is known that the police detained the person who attacked him.
Matte Frederiksen is 46 years old. He has served as the Prime Minister of Denmark since 2019.
