In the last press conference of the conflict between Min Hee Jin and HYBE, the CEO of ADOR says she hopes to reach an amicable agreement with the corporation
This Friday, 31st, the CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jin, held its second press conference, after the court voted in favor of its injunction against HYBE. During the process, Hee Jin revealed (via sportsworldi) that the first press conference, which took place last April, was inevitable and held only on a whim, arguing that only now is the news about the case being organized correctly.
In one of her speeches, she comments that she hopes for an amicable resolution with HYBE:
As there are still many things to resolve, I am here to inform you about my future plans (…) I hope to reach an agreement with HYBE. Although we are in a dispute, I am not sure how it will end. Aren’t you tired of criticizing someone? We need to turn the tables again, to see what is for the greater good in favor of the business vision. I hope you can put aside the emotional parts and rethink this. I also think it’s the most humane thing to do.”
The conflict between ADOR and HYBE began after the conglomerate accused Min Hee Jin, CEO of subsidiary record label ADOR, from attempting to take full control of his company. Since then, the case has become one of the most notable in the k-pop industry, as HYBE manages the careers of large groups, such as BTS and that of NewJeans.
