This tariff will be valid during the hours of minimum load in the power system from 23:00 to 7:00. However, a dual-zone meter is required to record day and night consumption separately. The Ministry of Energy announced this on May 31.
The department noted that starting tomorrow a new electricity tariff will be in effect in Ukraine – 4.32 UAH/kW. However, with a night tariff, consumers pay 50% of the regular tariff. That is, for a conventional 150 kWh you will have to pay 324 UAH, or 2.16 UAH/kW.
Meanwhile, Ukrenergo said that on June 1, limits on light consumption were introduced for businesses and the population throughout Ukraine from 18.00 to 23.00. Hourly outage schedules may be applied when limits are exceeded. At the same time, power will not be turned off for critical infrastructure facilities.
Let us remind you that from June 1, 2024, the unified electricity tariff for the population of Ukraine will be 4.32 UAH/kW. The new tariff will be valid until the end of April 2025.
