During a working visit to Sweden, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky met with His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. This was reported by the press service of the President of Ukraine on Friday, May 31.
Zelensky thanked Sweden and the Swedish people for their comprehensive support for Ukraine and unwavering solidarity with Ukrainians in the face of Russia’s full-scale aggression, and also separately noted that Sweden has provided a temporary protection from war for more than 35 thousand Ukrainians.
The President told His Majesty about the hope he has for the first Global Peace Summit and invited His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Her Majesty Queen Silvia to visit Ukraine at a time convenient for them.
“During an audience with King Carl XVI of Sweden, Gustav was able to express gratitude to Sweden and the Swedish people for their unwavering solidarity with Ukraine Special thanks for the special help to Ukrainian children, especially within the framework of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children This is very important, and we highly appreciate it,” Zelensky wrote on social networks and published a video.
