Hayao Miyazaki’s next film may have received new clues; Know more!

Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki already has some plans for his next film, according to his son, Goro Miyazaki

According to the ComicBook portal, the co-founder of Studio Ghibli, Hayao Miyazaki, you already have some ideas in mind for your next film. Recently, your son Goro Miyazakiwho is also involved in the film industry, gave some interviews to the Japanese press, where he discussed some clues about the next story his father will tell:

I would tell him (Hayao Miyazaki), ‘Think of something for future projects. Just talking about your past experiences is boring.'” commented Goro referring to Studio Ghibli’s latest film ‘The Boy and the Crane’. “He’s working on some ideas now, though. I don’t know if it’s actually for his next film, but it’s looking like a nostalgic action-adventure film reminiscent of the old days.”

Studio Ghibli was founded in 1985 by Japanese filmmakers Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata, Toshio Suzuki It is Yasuyoshi Tokuma. The first film they produced was “The Castle in the Sky”, released in 1986. Since then, the studio’s productions have enjoyed great success around the world, with animations that subtly address themes involving environmental preservation and human emotions.

The most recent film produced by Studio Ghibli is “The Boy and the Crane”, which won the Oscar in 2024 in the Best Animated Feature category. Netflix has already announced that the feature film will be added to the catalog soon, but the platform has not yet released any official date.
